took my daughter to my comic book store's sidewalk sale today. it was the last day of it so there were slim pickin's to be had. she usually picks out a spidey or superman figure for 3 bucks or so. first thing she picked up was a book that looked like a barbie diary. it turned out to be a book about the doll from "Team America: world police." i told her that it wasn't what she would be expecting. next she picked up something a little less harmless. although, still on the strange side.
it was a figure playset from adult swim on cartoon network. there were two sets. one from sealab 2021 and the other fromthe brak show. at first i was afraid i was gonna have to say no again. but i realized the one she wanted was the brak show one and the reason behind that was that it came with a table and chair set complete with silverware and a bowl of fruit. she could care less what show it was from or who brak's mom and dad were. she just saw accessories for her other toys to have tea parties at.
plus, the price was sooo right. it was marked down to 2 dollars American. aaaand plus! it was buy one get one free. so i ended up with a sealab 2021 set for free. bonus.
besides that, all i found were 2 books that costs 2 dollars each. so 6 bucks and i'm done. usually, i try to find some cool T-shirts but none could be found that i would have wanted to wear. sigh.
but hey, comic-con is coming. woo-hoo!!!
p.s. i'm pretty sure the Suicide Girls still hate me.
