sigh.
it's that time of year again when everybody else in the world is constantly playing Christmas music.
for the record, i hate Christmas music.
and for those of you who think i'm crazy and would love to listen to Christmas music all year long i just have to ask you how many cats do you have?
or how long you have been off your meds?

but here comes the part where i slightly contradict myself.

i do have a handful of Christmas albums that make the grade.
and i just found my third favorite today.

i bet i was the only one in my hood today blasting the Twisted Sister Christmas album today.

i was really, really enjoying "o come all ye faithful" to the same tune as "we're not gonna take it."
it works out pretty good that way. who woulda thunk?
it replaces my number three which up until then was James Brown "funky Christmas"

number 2 would be the Ventures Christmas album.

and of course, number one (and good luck knocking this one out of its standing) is the Mojo Nixon holiday album.
Mojo pretty much got drunk and made a Christmas album for no reason. they totally forget the words and just do the la la la's for some tracks.
and i guarantee that this cd is inappropiate for most holiday gatherings. but i also guarantee that it will beat the crap out of your amy grant Christmas album any day of the week and twice on sunday when it comes to pure down home fun.

i guess i pretty much only have 4 holiday albums i really like. i'm sure there's more out there, but since this is a genre that i wouldn't miss if it was declared illegal, i'm not really searching for any more versions of jingle bell rock.

anyway. happy kwanzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

(remember to say it like a kung fu warrior or at the very least, ninja.)

Comments:
what about the South Park Christmas album and/or Bob Rivers.
I'll make ya a CD of my favorites, so the Bill's Favorite Christmas album will be on your list next year.
Includes Stryper
Bill

sweet!
i do have the stryper, and i forgot about the bob rivers one, which i don't have. compilations of weird Christmas music rock! full recordings are hard to come by that make the cut. the Christmas with Bill cd may just make me believe again...

believe in what i don't know.

but keep on truckin!

your pal, space
