Lightsabers and Lollipops

i'm one of those people who talks to himself from time to time.

what's been happening recently, if not always, is that my inner monologue shuts off in mid internal conversation.

the example that made me think of this happened this morning when i uttered out loud the following sentence:

"that's right, i could go for some Apple Jacks."

the other sentences that led up to and followed were only spoken inside my head.
